Cosmetic Dentistry

Your smile is what lights up your face. Damaged or missing teeth may make you too self-conscious to smile or may cause pain. Dr. Limbird has a variety of options to restore your smile and end your pain. One of them will likely work for you. Whether the problem has just arisen or has bothered you for years, we can address it.

       Natural Colored Fillings

Tooth colored fillings and onlays are not only an attractive replacement for silver fillings, but they are also stronger and non-toxic! Porcelain onlays are bio-compatible and they react very much like natural tooth structure; resulting in more durable restorations with less temperature sensitivity.  Consequently, patients have a greatest level of comfort with the porcelain onlays (rather than composite or metal fillings).

       Whitening

Whitening, contouring, and polishing can smooth out rough edges on your teeth, resulting in a brighter and more symmetrical look.  We offer Zoom® In Office Whitening, which is completed in one and one half hour. Zoom® Whitening is ideal for patients who have attempted at home whitening systems and found them either too time consuming or just plain ineffective. The materials we use to whiten teeth are much more capable of whitening teeth quicker and more consistently than the over the counter alternatives.

       Crowns

Crowns made of natural looking porcelain and composite materials mean there are no more unsightly metal margins at the gingival line. There are many types of crowns. Many of our patients’ crowns are able to be seated in the same day as the preparation; therefore, the patient saves the time and money of multiple appointments. Crowns are an engineered cover, which fits over a damaged tooth to restore its size and shape. A bridge is a fixed replacement for one or more missing teeth. The teeth beside the gap are reshaped to support the bridge. An implant is an artificial root which supports a replacement tooth/crown. Bonding uses life-like materials to quickly and easily fill in chipped edges and gaps between teeth.
